context of our story
We each have a story—one unlike any other in all of human history. Can you feel the weight of that? It’s not by accident. While our stories may echo elements of others, each one is divinely and wonderfully unique.
Like any great story we read or watch, there’s a nemesis—an enemy, a force of darkness. Whether we recognize it or not, we face a relentless adversary working to discourage us, tear us down, and strip us of hope and purpose.
But every good story also has, well... good. An Advocate. A Hero. Someone who shows up just when it seems all is lost. Someone who takes the shattered pieces and crafts something breathtakingly beautiful—the kind of beauty that brings tears. Not just any tears, weighty, joyful tears. Tears that whisper of goodness, mercy, and redemption.
My friends, this is the context of our story—yours and mine. But we must have eyes to see… ears to hear.
Have you ever watched a movie with a film buff who fixates on the technical details—analyzing every scene and special effect—while missing the heart of the story? They get lost in the small things and miss the big picture.
Don’t let that be true of your own story.
It is a sacred honor to walk beside you in this journey—to be a character in your story who helps you step back, breathe deep, and see the masterpiece that is your divine story unfolding before you.

For as he thinks within himself, so he is.
Proverbs 23:7
I’m a husband, father, and therapist who values honesty, growth, and the beauty found in life’s quieter moments. I’m drawn to the stories people carry—and the strength it takes to heal and grow.
I love the outdoors: winding trails, salty breezes, and mountaintop hikes with my family. In stiller moments, I retreat to my woodshop, where the pace slows and the joy of creating returns.
I’m curious by nature—with a mind that wrestles with deep questions and a heart that’s always observing. I strive to live slowly and intentionally, noticing what often goes unseen. From that place, I walk with others, offering perspective, presence, and steady care.
